Tog

Many years the bay water temps are slow to warm in the spring resulting in only a week or 2 of good tog fishing in the spring for bay waters.  Then tog closes down on 1 May just as the bay tog bites gets going good.  Starting May 1st, there are not many options for fishing.  The drum bite has not started very good yet.  BSB is closed until 15 May.  Striper trophy season opens but few are actually landed in VA.  Should Virginia  have the authority to extend tog season for a few weeks when the winter water temps are slow to rise.

Tog - Do you the want the states to be able to extend the spring seasons a few weeks for cold winters?
